Have Patience

You will need perseverance
if you are to do God's will
and gain what He has promised.

Blessed is anyone who perseveres
when trials come.
Such a person is of proven worth
and will win the prize of life,
the crown that the Lord has promised
to those who love Him.

And all these things which were written so long ago
were written so that we,
learning perseverance
and the encouragement which the scriptures give,
should have hope.
Now the God of perseverance and encouragement
