I shall ask the Father-- Jn14,16-17
and He will give you another Paraclete
to be with you forever,
the Spirit of truth.
I have said these things to you-- Jn14,26
while still with you;
but the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in My name,
will teach you everything
and remind you of all I have said to you.
When the Paraclete comes,-- Jn15,26
whom I shall send to you from the Father,
the Spirit of truth
who issues from the Father,
He will be My witness.
Still, I am talking to you the truth:-- Jn16,7
it is for your own good that I am going,
because unless I go,
the Paraclete will not come to you;
but if I go, I will send Him to you.
Ananias, how can Satan have so possessed you-- Ac5,3-4
that you should lie to the Holy Spirit
and keep back part of the price of the land? ...
You have been lying not to men
but to God.
Do you not realise-- 1Co6,19
that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit,
who is in you
and whom you received from God?
However, when the Spirit of truth comes-- Jn16,13-14
He will lead you to the complete truth,
since He will not be speaking of His own accord,
but will say only what He has been told;
and He will reveal to you the things to come.
He will glorify Me,
since all He reveals to you
will be taken from what is Mine.
God has given revelation through the Spirit,-- 1Co2,10
for the Spirit explores the depth of everything,
even the depths of God.
For no prophecy ever came from human initiative.-- 2P1,21
When people spoke for God
it was the Holy Spirit that moved them.
The Holy Spirit will come upon you,-- Lk1,35
and the power of the Most High
will cover you with its shadow.
And so the child will be holy
and will be called Son of God.
But at work in all these (= gifts)-- 1Co12,11
is one and the same Spirit,
distributing them at will
to each individual.
In all truth I tell you,-- Jn3,5
no one can enter the Kingdom of God
without being born
through water and the Holy Spirit.
Receive the Holy Spirit.-- Jn20,22-23
If you forgive anyone's sins
they are forgiven;
if you retain anyone's sins,
they are retained.
The love of God has been poured into our hearts-- Rm5,5
by the Holy Spirit
which has been given to us.
But when the completion of the time came-- Ga4,4-6
God sent His Son,
born of a woman,
born a subject of the Law,
to redeem the subjects of the Law,
so that we could receive adoptions as sons.
As you are sons,
God has sent into our hearts
the Spirit of His Son
crying, `Abba, father'.
But when you are handed over,-- Mt10,19
do not worry about how to speak or what to say;
what you are to say
will be given to you when the time comes
because it s not you who will be speaking;
the Spirit of your Father will be speaking in you.
The fruit of the Spirit-- Ga5,22-23a
is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
trustfulness, gentleness and self control.
No law can touch such things as these.
